Finger Lakes Celtic Games and Festival
The Finger Lakes Celtic Games and Festival has undertaken the task of producing a Highland Games event in the Rochester/Finger Lakes Area.
We are a combination and consolidation of 3 different festivals in this area that no longer exist. Learning from them and striving to move forward,
this festival was created. We hope to have a true Celtic feeling and embrace the Celtic culture and society.
The vision is to host a Games event that has an extra flair through Pipers, Dancers, Highland Games, Clans and Historical Groups. We are nothing
without heritage and these groups bring that to the event. Our goal is to establish a Highland Games, Dance and Pipe event that will continue long
into the future, a legacy of a first class event that brings dignity and respect to the Finger Lakes Region.
Mark your calendars now for the 3rd weekend in May. We hope to have full pipe and dance competions with cash prizes this year. An undertaking such
as this needs your support, ideas, and volunteers to make it happen. We appteciate your suggestions and invite your participation no matter how great
or small! This year's festival will be great with Pipe Bands, the Heavy Athletic competitions, Celtic musicians,Irish and Scottish dance, Clan exhibits,
Art and Craft Exhibits, great food and many great vendors.
